Granted this may seem strange as I just spoke about transitional dressing however I'm going away for two weeks! Off to Spain with the family, unfortunately with out lover boy Joseph as he has to work sigh.. I'm  planning on doing nothing groundbreaking with my break and intend on swanning about by the pool and eating my body weight in ice-cream. Beach body? Ha I laugh at you beach bodies - No cares will be given, I will be gallivanting to my hearts content warts and all. But to try and maintain some sort of 'Image' I'm packing a few of these beach essentials:

The Bikini: This year I've opted for this Stripey little number from Monki,  High waisted being essential to try and hold in some of that ice-cream bloat. I originally went to order this via Asos but as I went to checkout it sold out! I did some serious fist shaking at the screen and continued with my search, luckily whilst I was in Amsterdam I came across a Monki store, I darted inside and there it was, without hesitating I scooped it up and sprinted towards the till. Thank you Monki!

The Suncream: Standard Procedure. This La Roche-Posay Anthelios for face is ultra lightweight and non greasy it quickly soaks in and gives you SPF 50+ essential for keeping them wrinkles away and protecting your skin, ooh and it makes a good base for makeup.

The Nail Varnish: Trying to look more tanned? Then white nails are the way to go, now I'm paler than pale and wont be returning with a tan - but whats wrong with trying to give the allusion of one? My favorite white has to be the Rimmel 60 Seconds Rita Ora Polish and yes it really does dry in 60 seconds.

The Canvas bag: If your like me this is an essential for carrying around all your unnecessary goods, the book you swear your going to read on the beach or the magazine your going to try and look trendy with, I bring these things with the best intentions but we all know we go to the beach and just fall asleep with a towel on our heads trying to battle the UV Rays. I was kindly given this one at a body shop event.

The Hairband: This Wire headband is one of my latest discovers - I'm probably years late to this band wagon but after weeks of trying to recreate the effortlessly chic headbands of the Giambattista Valli A/W show and nearly giving up, I came across this handy little thing and it will be perfect for keeping my hair off my face.

The Sunglasses: Another holiday essential, well I say holiday I seem to have had them surgically attached to my face for the majority of the year now, You may have seen these In an outfit post a few weeks back, I picked them up from River Island.

The Oil: This little bad boy is c/o the Body Shop, its part of their new Organic Argan Oil Range its the Radiant Oil and is a mulit use oil for your hair and body, I haven't fully tested it out yet but so far so good it smells gorgeous and gives my skin a glow.
