You've only got to stick your head out the windows to realize the weather has well and truly turned from an crisp autumn refreshing breeze to a full on snuffly nosed winter - With the change In weather comes a change In my skincare routine now I don't go all out on a huge change as my temperamental acne prone skin cant handle too much newness but to try and combat the inevitable winter dry skin battle I like to incorporate a few thicker lotions and potions.
Now to address the elephant in the room; you may be wondering why on earth I've Incorporated sunglasses into a Autumn beauty essentials post? Well don't take your sunnies out of your bags just yet the sun is actually brighter during the winder months peaking In January due to the earths positioning to the sun, have you ever been In the car and suddenly been blinded by the sun then had to quickly try and re position the sun visor? Well this is where the sunglasses come in exceptional handy, Ill be keeping these In my bag all year round thank you.
Next up is a product I've recently been trialing Estee Lauder Daywear 50 SPF which is packed full of antioxidants great for combating free radical damage, it's also a broad spectrum SPF - most sunscreens I've used have been way to thick for my skin and tend to break me out as well and leave me looking too matte, this one has been a happy medium for me; heavy enough to feel like its doing something but not too heavy for it to not sink into my skin, its not marketed as a moisturizer but it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft. I use this as the last step in my skincare routine. Next is a god sent for dry chapped lips which comes in the form of the Decleor Nutri-Smoothing Lipstick hands down this is the best lip product I've come across, its slightly scented (As with all Decleor products) but nothing too over powering its great for keeping dry lips at bay and is a perfect base for lipsticks.
At nighttime I like to give my face a big dose of moisture so I reach for my Bodyshop Vitamin E Overnight Oil you've probably seen countless reviews of this guru beauty staple so I wont bore you too much with the details - but if you've got seriously dry skin then this is one product you need to try this winter, my skin just drinks this stuff up and I wake up looking healthy and replenished. Then I like to use my multi purpose oil the Bodyshop Wild Argan Oil Its a soil oil and is  great for people on the go, I like to pop this into my bag and use it on my hands - its especially great for your cuticles. This is my second batch of this heavenly scented product my first was gifted to me but It soon run out (Mainly because I kept using it as an all over moisturizer) so I quickly repurchased it. It also works wonders on the ends of your hair. Then just to infuse my hair with even more oil I like to use John Frieda Frizz Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir this stuffs great for helping tame all them crazy air conditioning fly aways that we all accumulate in the autumn months, I use this on my ends when my hairs wet and then just blow dry it afterwards, couldn't be without it.
