I don't talk enough about beauty products on this blog,  In real life and even on twitter they have to be one of my favourite things to gossip about from new product releases to wonder products I love to have a good natter about them all. One of the first ever blogs I started to read was Annas' from Vivianna Does Makeup she was probably the reason I got so into makeup, I'd purchase things from her recommendations a little too frequently great for my makeup collection bad for my debit card.
Seeing as the bloggerspere is swarming with these kinds of posts at the moment I thought I'd take a swim In the sea of beauty, well maybe just dip my toes in for now. 2014 Beauty Favourites - The Goodowl Uk fashion and beauty blogger
Foundations are forever appearing on my imaginary wish lists so lets start there. First up is the Rimmel Mattifying BB cream I was a late comer to the BB cream hype as someone who suffers from bad hormonal acne I always stayed clear of anything sheer In fear that It just wouldn't be up to the task of camouflaging my foever expanding spot collection. However during the summer my spots eased up slightly (Thank you sunshine) and I started experimenting with them, after receiving a sample In a Misguided order I fell in love and run immediately to my local boots to stock up, It offers just the right amount of matte coverage to hide my scarring and pores but not too matte that It looks like Im wearing shed loads of makeup, its also a very reasonable price so I highly recommend trying one out.

Another top pick for bases would be Bare Minerals SPF 15 foundation, at the beginning of last year my skin was yet again having a blemish crisis convinced that my excessive foundation collection was the route of the problem I stripped back my makeup routine and when for a mineral foundation. I went to boots and had my makeup done by Bare Minerals and was astounded by the natural finish it left, not only was it able to completely hide my spots, it always significantly improved the texture of my skin. It has buildable coverage so its perfectly capable of hiding even the largest of blemishes, Id recommend pairing it with the Bare Mineral Veil for a truly flawless base.

Then onto a new entry into my beauty favourites the *Rodial Contouring compact this has to be my all time favourite product to contour with, it leaves a perfectly natural looking contour not too grey and not brown with a biuldable colour that works on most skin shades. Something that Ive found it pairs beautiful with is my highly coveted Revlon Photoready Skinlights highlighter  I was a massive Benefits high beam fan until I found this dupe counter part coming In at almost half the price and offering you double the product its the best was to add a subtle glow to your face, I wouldn't leave the house without it.

Then something Im sure you will have seen clogging up your social media channels the new brand that is Makeup Revolution, I was gifted the Essential Shimmers Palate at a meet up awhile ago for £4.00 its amazingly high value, with its pigmented colours and longevity its definitely worth a try.
Then again from Makeup Revolution is the Awesome double flick Liquid Liner, I thought some would would have to pry my fingers away from Rimmels Glam Eyes but it turns out I'm highly partial to a felt tip style liner. Its perfect for those of you who struggle with cat eye liner looks.
To go alongside my newly vamped up eyes is the new Clinque High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara  coming in at £18.00 its a pricey little wand but gives me a definition and volume like no other.

Then onto my final products and some of my favourites the lip goodies. A brand I've been loving for matte lipsticks this year has to be Sleek, Their Matte Me Lip creams, the one pictured is the shade 'Roja' but Birthday suit has also been a favourite of mine. They have THE best staying power I've ever used, as they're matte they can be slightly drying but used over a good lip balm and your on to a winner.

Then last but no means least, the lipstick I have been donning since October. Soap and Glorys' college boosting lipstick oh my oh my, it was love at first swatch my lips have never looked so supple the colours are super creamy and luxurious. Every single time I've worn the shade 'The Missing Pink' I've had compliments I'm not exaggerating  If you haven't tried them yet what are you waiting for, go swatch and fall in love for yourself.
