HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab040sa - Blue

 HP Pavilion

Now I must admit I'm terrible when it comes to laptops, I find myself falling into the same monotonous trap and end up buying whatever on earth half my lecture theater are using. The mundane familiarity in the sea of grey screens left my peripheral vision significantly narrowed, fortunately HP nabbed me in the nick-of-time and broadened my horizons showing me how to  'Bend The Rules' freeing me from my grey-scale techy world.

HP laptops come in several families with Pavilion and Envy being the most popular, the laptop that I'm so fancily sporting is the *HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab040sa - quite the mouthful. The Pavilion laptops are all out showcasing expressive colours and long-lasting power, it also hosts an impressive 2tb of storage and increased memory which is ideal when you're flicking between applications and need to work fast.

To #BendTheRules and slip away from my day-to-day university study's I headed to one my favourite places on earth, Kew Gardens. The visit was a desperate attempt to bring back my glorious and stress-free summer holiday memories - oh, woe-is-me, it also gave me the chance to take a break and  enjoy some of the *stunning natural beauty that Kew has to offer, all whilst taking the HP for a spin.

*aka spy on all the Cactus, promise I'm only a little obsessed.

The idea behind the bold colours of the laptop is to allow it to brighten up anywhere you take it, I chose cobalt blue as it added a dash of vibrancy to my otherwise sterile tech kit. The outlandish hue was bright enough to stand out among the flowers at Kew Gardens and if it livened up the wash of green, then it's guaranteed to liven up my home and university studio ensuring those summer months will be kept alive even in the dullest of Autumn days.

You can also get the Pavilion laptops in; Natural Silver, Blizzard White, Sunset Red, Cobalt Blue and Violet Purple.

The great thing about this laptop is it's battery life, it lasted 7.5 hours before it needed another charge which is a godsend when your on the go, so even whilst I was exploring the greenhouses I could happily tap away without having to dash to the nearest wall socket (the struggle is real). The Pavilion has a 15.6" screen, which although makes it rather big to carry about it was actually really light so fortunately my arm muscles didn't have to work up too much of a sweat.
