Well chaps, It's been awhile.

It feels odd to be sitting down with my laptop writing on good ol' Blogger again, I feel so out of the loop. I finished university and graduated - with a 1st class may I add *smug cheesy grin* - over a month ago and I've been meaning to sit down and write again. After escaping purgatory I got caught up in the slump that is procrastination.

Between sending out a shit ton of CV's and wiping away the ash from my singed brow, the ambuscade that is day time television become my new solace and took a hold of me.

Despite the headlock I was in I've been dipping my toe back into social media and tweeting a few tweets - mostly about this new 100 layers fad thing? WHAT EVEN IS THAT? I even shot a few Youtube videos. What I've really missed though is writing posts for you guys, so If you'll have me I'd love to come back? I promise to be more frequent and tell you lovely things.

So what have I been doing? Apart from watching re-runs of Criminal Minds that is..

Firstly, I was finishing my Fashion Design degree which completely took over my life, every waking hour was spent frantically researching, pattern cutting and sewing. It sounds tame and I wish it was as simple as that sentence made it out to be. Maybe then my waistline wouldn't have expanded so rapidly, damn stress eating...
I was also writing my dissertation, which was based on how we can shape our identities purely through visuals on Instagram. Which was interesting to research as it's a new topic, but it wasn't without it's drawbacks, since it's submission I haven't been able to post a single cliché Instagram photo. There's still time, soon my pretties soon!

But university wasn't all stress and gloom and In my case all-the-food! Besides meeting some serious sass-pots there I also got to take part in some pretty unforgettable experiences. February was good to me, I won a spot at the FAD fashion catwalk show which took place during London Fashion Week. I was asked to create two looks, which I had to do whilst creating my final collection *stress, stress stress*. seeing them walk down the runway was probably one of the proudest moments of my life, it made all the late nights and break downs completely worth it.

I was also selected to show my work at this years Graduate Fashion Week and my work was worn by Mollie King in Geist Magazine which was all pretty bladdy special, seeing something you've worked so hard on up on stage AND all in once piece felt like a birthday and Christmas all rolled into one (inc, all of the sweets that go with them). I have to admit though I've been on a bit of a sugar low since then and have been eager to sink my teeth into my next slice of cake, fortunately All Saints have offered me some work experience with them and I CAN NOT WAIT - hence the capitals.

On top of all of this I've had a bit of a life over-haul, back in September I became a Vegetarian, but after more research I soon transitioned to a Vegan and have been living 'dat lyf' ever since. So my content will change slightly from here on out as I transition my beauty products and all that. If you want to hear more about this I'm more then happy to do a post on it.

Bringing things up to the present day

Have you noticed anything different about me? Why yes, my sites had a little bit of a hair cut. Yeah sure there's a few split-ends I need to tend to but I think it's a bit-of-alright, what do you think? I'm looking forward to creating more content, do let me know what kind of things you would like in the comments below, but in the meantime check out my Youtube channel as there will be more new content up on there soon.
