I'm the Queen of procrastination.
My constant hair changes, midnight home Feng shui sessions and internet search history all are testament to my ability to put things off.

My number one avoidance has been this blog, I mean just look at the last time I posted?! It's not that I've fallen out of love of blogging, It's not that I stopped enjoying interacting with you guys and meeting new people - tbh that was my favourite thing about it! It's because I have this annoying need for evening thing to be perfect.

I've drafted countless blog posts and yet clicked publish on none of them. I did, and have done what every *annoying* positive quote tweet on Twitter said not to do, I compared myself to everyone. I convinced myself that my opinions didn't matter, that my clothes and style choices aren't good enough and that my content was poor.

*Plays tiny Violin*

We've all done it, we've thrown on a outfit - felt pretty darn snazzy about it -  then nipped on Instagram took one scroll then said, "shit, *Insert dramatic statement about looking like a plum".

We know we shouldn't do it, god knows those motivational quotes like to make sure we know it, but we do it anyway because damn it, we're human.

And being humans that means sometimes we make mistakes, sometimes our photos turn out more pixelated than a Motorola Razr's and sometimes we wear things that make us resemble a crazed Dalmatian but ultimately all we're doing is popping on a frock, so who cares if people don't like it? If you think you look hotter than (this guy) than in the words of my good friend Danie Vanier "You do you".

I'm not usually one for new year resolutions but this year I've decided to stop whining and just do it. Sometimes I might be a shit blogger, but sometimes I'm actually a bit of alright. The constant search for perfection is a hindrance and I need to work on accepting that not everything will always be right, but that's the fun of life - damn I've become a quote

I want to thank the people that have been cheering me on to get back into blogging, all the tweets, private messages and support on my Youtube channel have honestly been the reason I've opened back up good ol' Blogger.

So sod it, sod what my brain says. Let's get out the Canon and do this.
